Watch the Live Stream of the 2014 Corvette Reveal Here Starting at 7:00PM EST
1953. 1963. 1968. 1984. 1997. 2005. What do these years mean? Of course, they are the first model years of each generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, a car currently in its sixth generation (C6) but about to enter its seventh (C7).
Tonight, in exactly four hours, the world will officially see the 2014 Corvette in all its glory. Full Metal Autos will be there, and we’ll bring you detailed in-person impressions later tonight.
In case you’re the impatient type, though, you can watch the official live stream via YouTube here starting at 7:00 (U.S. east coast time):
There will be many media outlets covering the launch event in person here in Detroit at the Russell Industrial Center, but not all of them have had the benefit of a recent road trip in a C6 to gauge the scale of the changes. Initial guess? They will be significant. My guess is that the car will significantly boost comfort, refinement, technology, and comfort. It will also probably drop some weight vs. the C6 and gain performance.
I can’t wait to see it, and really can’t wait to drive it.
